Title: Problems with libcurl.dll
Post by: Abderian Agelast on August 23, 2014, 07:41:12 PM
For some reason, my computer's security software doesn't like the libcurl.dll extension and deletes it every time I try to run LackeyCCG, rendering the application unable to run. I can't figure out why it would be doing this or how to avoid it. Is there a way to run LackeyCCG without the libcurl extension, and if not, is there a version of the extension that won't be deleted by my computer? It's a Windows computer, by the way.

EDIT: I figured out a way to get around the problem. When I Googled "libcurl.dll", I came to this website: http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?libcurl

This website had a version of the libcurl file that my computer liked. So if anyone encounters a problem with the libcurl extension, try downloading the version from here and moving it into the LackeyCCG folder.

That's odd. Not sure what exactly it was complaining about. I would be wary of downloading a dll from some untrusted site though.
