For the last 2 sets I have been the one working on the WoW plugin.
And unless something changes (Real Life), I will do the next also.

Are you itching for the new badge cards?

any word on naxx cards being added?

Here's card images and info courtesy of Chris Teo and Zackery Taylor!

http://www.sendspace.com/file/8w66qf (http://www.sendspace.com/file/8w66qf)

Just copy / paste these files into your lackey directory, restart lackey and you should be good to go.

btw to whomever maintains the server, anyway we could get this stuff added there also?

edited for minor bug fix.

when will the wow plugin be updated with the new crafted cards and naxx treasure pack cards?
Title: Re: WoW TCG plugin
Post by: Shoel on January 05, 2010, 06:38:43 AM
I'm feeling that I simply do not have the time to manage this plugin anymore.
In between a new work a second child and other projects I think it's better to hand the torch over.

Any volounteers?  8)

The workload isn't that great actually, it's mostly a matter of gathering the scans and typing the text into an excel spreadsheat. No programming skills are required, and I'm willing to give a crash course.

I've done this for about a year.
And started with the crafted items from DoW. I did it because there was some bitching because they never were released. So I started doing it just to get people to shut up. So step up or shut up  ;)

Hey Shoel,
I would be happy to carry the torch for a short while (I hope) just to catch things up.  Busy myself, but would like to benefit from having the Naxx Set/etc there.  Let me know how I can help and when a crash course can be provided.  hit me up by e-mail as needed.  Thanks,
Nico

Hi,
I know that now that I'm not the maintainer of the WoW plugin I can't really come with any demands.
But I would like to see the following in the next update.

1. In the setslist, add the Core format.
2. Add the Nax raid cards. I want to see/play more raids.

/Shoel
Title: Re: WoW TCG plugin
Post by: Trevor on February 15, 2010, 12:18:29 PM
What is the core format?

What is an example of a missing Naxx raid card?
Title: Re: WoW TCG plugin
Post by: Shoel on February 16, 2010, 05:17:09 AM
Core format is in practicality the last three blocks released (which reminds me SW needs to get its own tab as a new block also).
The cards that are not legal in Core are:
Heroes of Azeroth
Through the Dark Portal
Fires of Outland
Onyxia?s Lair
Molten Core
Feast of Winter Veil
Burning Crusade Collector?s Edition
Blizzcon 2007 Promo
Crafted cards and Badge of Justice cards (that are associated with those sets).

Check out the cards for the Black Temple Raid
You'll notice that some of the cards doesn't match the normal WoW cards.
You'll also notice that the card names are of three types
btt (Black Temple Tokens)
btr (Black Temple Raid cards)
bt (Black Temple Treasure cards)

The first 2 card types are mostly used for just running the raid (Like a minigame using WoW rules).
And the third kind are the cards you get as a reward for finishing the raid.
Only the treasure cards are available on lackey, I'd like to see the rest aswell.

Instead of saying which sets aren't in a format, can you tell me which sets are in a format?

Let me know a specific card that is missing, and I will make sure other cards from its set are there too.

hey, a new guy here.
saw a link on demonoidabout wow, and me n my gf decided to try it.

i noted the lackeyccg plugin finder said 2836 cards while i the below torrent had 2896 files(and thus possbily more card images), anyone wana check?

http://www.demonoid.com/files/details/1927864/?show_files=1&page=1&ref=1268753573#file_list

Anyway i followed the instructions of
http://www.angelfire.com/funky/magiclackey/help.html
except i got the plugin txt from lacekyccg's website. Is there anything else im missing?

And is there a way to limit cards, like say only play from certain expansions or other?
Title: Re: WoW TCG plugin
Post by: Trevor on March 17, 2010, 03:04:41 AM
My wow plugin has 3211 cards.

If your plugin has fewer, run autoupdate.

Note the actual plugin finder doesn't get update as often as the plugins do, so the number the plugin finder says shouldn't relied on. Load the plugin and check the count in the deck editor.

At present, I don't know of any cards that aren't in the plugin. If I am wrong, please correct me.

Ok so whoever runs this plugin should contact me. i have scans of all the naxx raid cards, but i dont want to go through putting them into the plugin. (job and a family and busy life stuff.) But i would definately scan all the cards in for someone who would write them into the plugin. (I only have the raid cards and bosses, not the special naxx hero cards. but i would like to see them eventually!)(Also i was wondering when we will see the new class decks in lackey ccg?)(I know they are all old cards but their are a few new prints and a couple of all new quest cards, plus im a completionist. :) )

Anyone working on the new set? Color scans of the cards would obviously be nice, but in the meantime, Cryptozoic has posted B&W PDFs of the new cards. Since national championships is right around the corner, it would be nice to get as much practice as possible with the new cards...
Title: Re: WoW TCG plugin
Post by: Shoel on May 25, 2010, 02:25:14 PM
I used to do it but relinquished the job due to increased workload on other projects.
Several people expressed interest in doing it but in the end I think Trev did the finishing work (NAX and SW crafted cards).

If you are in a hurry just do it your self. Thats how I began.
Title: Re: WoW TCG plugin
Post by: Trevor on May 26, 2010, 11:35:12 PM
I sometimes help make the wow plugin. But I'm not going to add any cards unless there are good scans out for every card. If there are goods scans for an entire set, and that set isn't in the plugin, let me know. I've been busy with other stuff to follow it closely.
Title: Re: WoW TCG plugin
Post by: dwhite25 on May 28, 2010, 01:25:40 PM
Any idea who was doing the color scans before? I'm impatient enough to be willing to get it all together, but I don't have a scanner. Otherwise, I'm just going to use the B&W scans Cryptozoic has already posted.

Actually I really have no clue how to do it, so if someone else who knows how to do it could update the plugin with the icecrown cards(the prints and text are on www.wowtcgdb.com) then that would be greatly appreciated :) sorry but I really am a noob at things like this :p
Title: Re: WoW TCG plugin
Post by: Trevor on September 30, 2010, 05:47:16 AM
The wow plugin was just updated to add Icecrown. The text isn't fully entered, as is the case with wrathgate if I recall correctly. But everything is playable. If anyone wants to input the text for the wrathgate and icecrown sets, let me know and I'll update the plugin.

If there are any mistakes, or if cards are missing, post here about it.

I might just be missing something here but... My WoW TCG plugin does not have the Naxxramas raid deck cards and I am positive that I have to most updated plugin according to updatelist.txt ( I updated 30 minutes ago and have 3651 cards include the icecrown cards).

Is the same same with everyone or am I doing something wrong? I have read through this thread and not found a conclusion.

Thank you!

hi. been playing this plugin on lackey a couple of years now and i love it :) big thanks to all ppl responsible for this program and plugin!

however, the reason i first came here was not to give thanks but to report cardtext errors but dont let that belittle my thanks!

cards:
wrathgate
#143 got #144's text
#144 got #145's text
this goes on till card
#148 that has #154's text (#154 has got its own though)

in other words there been a shift in cardtext to the previous card, good thing is that, afaik, the only text that isnt put in is #143.

yet again, thx for all the time invested into this epic program and plugin.

That all was fixed.
Also, some heros now have unique card backs from the Worldbreaker set. There don't seem to be images for the backs of the older hero cards.
I suggest everyone run autoupdate to get the latest version of the plugin.

New Set - WAR OF THE ELEMENTS is out.

All the card info is up on wowtcgdb.com. A direct link to the excel file with all the set data: http://wowtcgdb.com/woe-data.xls

If we could get this updated it would be EPIC!

Cheers,

D

PS. Bug with the Setlist.txt file. You have "wb" and "wg" but they should be "WB" & "WG" or Core_2 doesn't pick up the two sets.

I made an update myself that me and my friends are using.

I don't know if you like or dont like people doing that, but I will remove this post if you want me to.

Link to the Temp War of the Elements Update: [link removed]

If you extract the archive into the plugin/wow directory it will update the following:

plugins/wow/setlist.txt  <-- Added the set to the Core_2 list
plugins/wow/sets/AllSets.txt   <-- Added the Card Data
plugins/wow/sets/SetImages/WOE  <-- All the images

If anyone notices any problems let me know and I will update the rar file.

Awesome. Now for some feature requests and bugs!

Feature Requests:

- Can you also add the Hero Flip images? They are fairly important these days as they have more info on them. During the Icecrown set, the Deck Building Rules were printed on the front and there was no way within LackeyCCG to view them.
- Can you add Assault on Icecrown Citadel Raid cards please.

Some Bugs:

- Set info refers to "wb" and "wg" in the "Core_2" section, however due to what appears to be a Capitalization issue those sets are not being found in LackeyCCG when you have Core_2 selected.

Also, here are some bugs in the card data:

WOE #130 Zooti
Should be Frost ATK Type, not Fire

FOH #033 Brittilize
Spelling mistake you have "Brittlizie" instead of "Brittilize"

AGM #011 Guardian's Plate Armor
You have used the English spelling "Armour" instead of "Armor". Only one in the entire collection =]

The source used for card images is http://wowtcgdb.com. They don't have the images for Icecrown raid, or for most of the backs for hero cards. For the newer sets, there are images for card backs, which you can see in lackey, but not for older cards. If you want to get images for the other card backs, or get images/data for the icecrown raid, we can get them added to the plugin.

It's not on wowtcgdb.com, but in the wowtcg forums there are a few pages linking to the sets.

The wow tcg forums are suggesting that wowtcgdb is no longer being maintained (http://forums.wowtcg.com/showthread.php?t=11142). I hope this isn't the case.

www.wowtcgspot.com has the CSV file for the set: http://wowtcgspot.com/download-edition/twilight/

I'm not trying to rush this, just in case it is found that wowtcgdb is dead, might be some other alternatives.

And to put my money where my mouth is, I converted the CSV file from wowtcgspot into an Excel file, with corrected columns.

You can find it here: http://www.sc2live.com/setinfo/TOTD.xlsx
A link to each cards image is also provided in the last column.

When I go to update, it downloads the sets IC and ICT.

Doesn't update the TOD set at all. Am I doing something wrong?

You trying to update medium or high?

High. Ill try medium now.

Same deal.

Log: "There is a newer version of plugins/wow/sets/AllSets.txt local checksum: 77642386. remote checksum: 81639242. preparing to download...."

Now it downloads the file (i even tried deleting the local AllSets.txt file).
I restart lackey and no update. I run Update this plugin again, and finds newer version.

It appears it never downloads the correct one =[

Please bring back the Filter so I can set WB Block.
I edit the Setlist.txt so I have my own block with all the valid cards, but now I cant even choose that =[

To see cards from last 3 sets I have to filter out about 10-12 previous sets.

I'm also having problems with the card back for the WoW plugin. can't tell if a resource that's flipped upside down is tapped or not
Title: Re: WoW TCG plugin
Post by: Slycat on October 17, 2011, 07:37:23 AM
I found a quick fix but its a big hack..

In the plugin info text file remove this line towards the end:

<definition><kind>ISALLOWINGMULTIPLECARDBACKS</kind></definition>

Then put in your own cardback.jpg file (I used the one from munchkin)

It's not pretty but it will allow you to have a cardback (and I think fixes the problem with cards getting all big/small)

Title: Re: WoW TCG plugin
Post by: Trevor on October 17, 2011, 09:02:50 AM
I don't see what the problem is. Why can't you tell if a facedown resource is tapped or not? It seems clear to me.

I don't see any reason for Slycat's hack. Hacks are a bad idea to do, by the way.

Title: Re: WoW TCG plugin

Found some errors.

King Genn Greymane is King Grenn Greymane
Dreadsteed is Dreadstead

Breaking the Bonds and Tirion's Gambit uses "pay n" instead of "pay (n)" which other quests use.

Frostwolf Insignia and Stormspike Insignia uses Honour Counters instead of Honor Counters. The actual cards use Honor Counters.

The cards from Throne of the Tides lack information. They have no Traits, Class, Faction, ATK, Damage, Heal, # or Card Text.

All Neutral cards from Twilight of the Dragons have a blank faction instead of the word "Neutral".

A lot of heroes lack the "Shift to see back command." I can see this work anyway, but especially the Scourge Heroes from Icecrown and the Demon Heroes from the Hunt for Illidan need this function as they have important information on their back.

Several cards need better image scans. Some of them are:
Arcane Bidding
Ashnaar, Frost Herald
Avalanche
Azjol-Anak Deathwatcher
Babaganoosh the Grumpy
Bath'rah the Windwatcher
Close Quarters Combat
Fingers of Frost
Flare of the Heavens
Frost-bound Chain Bracers
Frostbridge Orb
Frostweaver Darak'sith
Glacial Bag
Gloves of the Frozen Glade
Hailstorm
Hemet Nesingwary
Hero's Surrender
Jaina, Lady of Theramore
Journey's End
Kel'thuzad's Reach
Kingsbane
Koltira Deathweaver
Legplates of the Endless Void
Metamorphosis
Natural Reclamation
Nether Rift
Orbaz Bloodbane
Orgrim's Hammer
Penetrating Shots
Power Infusion
Psychic Shriek
Reckoning
Rhonin
Shade of Arugal
Shawl of Haunted Memories
Sigil of the Vengeful Heart
Soul of the Dead
Spinning Fate
Spiritual Awakening
Stormtip
Super Simian Sphere
Swift Palomino
Thrall, Warchief of the Horde
Titan-Forged Rune of Cruelty
Totem of Splintering
Underking Talonox
Val'anyr, Hammer of the Ancient Kings
Warbringer

Ok, so... What's up with this plugin? is the error fix coming along or not? because if it's not, then I might pick up part of it, mainly the missing info in Throne of the Tides, which I already started filling up in my set file... I'm not really planning on finding better scans just yet... I might change my mind later, though...

Anyway, just wanted to know if HowardP was still working on this and how it was coming along as of now...

EDIT: I also noticed that the Twilight of the Dragons set has misplaced information, notably the traits being put together with the type of the cards... I'm gonna fix that too.

The set ToT (Throne of Tides) does not have a lot of cards listed with text.

Take Crabbyfin for example, the card is in the database but has no text as to what it is or what it's ability is. You are unable to search for it due to this.

Here's a list of cards that are all in the ToT that are missing text besides the basic stuff (ally, hero, equipment, etc). Hopefully this isn't too hard to implement and I hope this helps.

its tab-delimited text. Excel should be able to open it without a problem. Try again and let me know if there is a problem. I'm not sure how excel could have a problem with a card data file. Once you open that, you can see how card data I slated out, such as card name, set name, etc. All you need to do is fill in the missing card data (or really just the first 3 columns of Name, Set, and ImageFile), and then Find the card images. Ask me if you have any questions. IM me and I can walk you through any trouble.
Title: Re: WoW TCG plugin
Post by: borbi on October 18, 2013, 05:31:54 AM
Maybe the fact that I am using the Excel version of Open Office is the problem. The file looks like this, when I open it:
(http://s14.directupload.net/images/131018/temp/xquyulun.png) (http://s14.directupload.net/file/d/3414/xquyulun_png.htm)
But the format is okay with Wordpad. I'd prefer to work with Excel though.

Where did the download missing card images button go to?
Title: Re: WoW TCG plugin
Post by: Trevor on October 18, 2013, 01:03:39 PM
There is no such thing as the "open office version of excel". There is excel, a common spreadsheet program, and other spreadsheet programs, such as the one included in open office. I don't have experience with open office specifically, but card data files are in tab delimited text format, and any spreadsheet program should be able to read that. That means each column is separated by tabs, so from that image, that program isn't doing that. It would probably just be easier to use excel, but you could also try opening in wordpad, and copying, then pasting that to a blank open office spreadsheet file.
Title: Re: WoW TCG plugin
Post by: Gordon228 on October 18, 2013, 03:44:58 PM
open offices Calc is almost identical to excel and you do need to use tab delimited text files and when you import the text document it should give you a prompt with tells you what type of spacing it is.

I can get you them if you need. I own all of the decks IRL. Just tell me which ones you need.

Which also makes me ask if this is still being worked on? If not, I can volunteer to continue working on it. I should even get access to the virtual cards that the players association are making to continue on after the final set.

Just need the file and to know what set was ended on.

I can set up a cloud where we can share a workspace and work with you on getting everything up to date (and maybe even scripting the cards, as well). Can't say how much or how often I'll get work done, but I figure two of us working on it part time would get it to current faster than just the one.

I'm working on this for Octgn. Since the Lackey and the old version on Octgn were badly out of date. I've been gathering the images and working on sets. Plus setting up tables for playing 1v1, 1v1v1v1, 2v2, and raids/dungeons. Basically trying to cover everything the tcg has to offer.

If there is anyone that wants to use the images once I have it fixed up for Octgn, in order to setup the Lackey plugin, that would be fine. I know it's a dead thread, but I don't want to see this game fall by the wayside.

I am also hoping to release new cards, since the game is officially discontinued now. I felt like Professions just weren't covered well enough if the main game. That they were more of a side thing. So I want to release a pack of new cards that revolve around professions. Mostly trying to add cards to expand on what can be found, as well as adding new stuff based on the MMO. Some examples:

Gathering Locations: For professions, but all heroes can benefit. Like a Copper Mine, played as a location resource, with counters that you could then use to acquire new equipment cards or sets. Basically to add stuff from Mining and Herbalism in the MMO, to bring in more equipment with varied functions.

Mists of Pandaria Pack: This is to bring in Pandaren heroes and allies, as well as a Monk class, and new stuff.

And really to add in more Raids and Dungeons. I already want to try and setup an Ahn'Qiraji Raid, in which you run through Opening the Gates, the outer battle, and then entering the temple to continue it.

Right now I'm trying to find card blanks for all the cards out. In order to build a Magic Set Editor plugin. Only the old version is currently available.
