i think i know what you meant but it says
getting updatelist checksums from local updatelist.txt entries
error cannot find updatelist at .
mkupdate plugins/PLUGINNAME/updatelist.txt

Put the name if your plugin for PLUGINNAME. If it gives you can error, you need to put your updatelist.txt adjacent to your plugininfo.txt. If it is already, it means your updatelist.txt is invalid. If the latter, post your updatelist.txt.

sengicia

ok it still says the same thing here is my update list

There are a bunch of things wrong.

First, the file you linked is "updatelist.txt.txt"

A bunch of your files are similarly mislabeled, such as "plugininfo.txt.txt". Whatever you are doing to hide the suffixes of files, I suggest you turn it off because it's confusing the true names of the files.

http://escalation.webs.com//Escalation/Sets/Setimages/General/CardBack.jpg
It's bad practice to use // in URLs.

"plugins/Escalation/Sets/Setimages/General/CardBack" needs a .jpg suffix.

The dimensions of your cardback and spawned images are pretty huge. I think you should batch shrink them all to more manageable dimensions.

CardGeneralURLs:
http://escalation.webs.com/starter.htm

That link should be to a directory, not a file. It should end with "/".

file:///C:/Users/ryan/Documents/LackeyCCGBetaWin/LackeyCCG/plugins/Escalation/Sets/Carddata.html
You are trying to use that as a URL, but that is a link to a file on your computer.

sengicia

i am very sorry about not knowing much of this but i know how to fix what you talked about but what confuses me is when you said // is a bad practice in URLs. and how would i make it into a directory instead of a file? again i am very sorry

Trevor

Where are the images? http://escalation.webs.com/ or http://escalation.webs.com/cards/ or http://escalation.webs.com/high/ would be appropriate depending on where you uploaded the images to.

sengicia

ok thank you but will this fix the problem of the update list not getting checksums?

As I said before, use

mkupdate plugins/PLUGINNAME/updatelist.txt

If that doesn't work, it means you either don't have the updatelist.txt file where it should be (which was true in your case), or there was a problem with your updatelist.txt syntax (which was also true in your case).

Read the tutorial about making one carefully, and if you can't figure it out, post your fixed updatelist.txt file again.

sengicia

ok i thank you for helping me i really appreciate it. also i am sorry if some of my questions were stupid i am learning.

sengicia

ok i got the checksums and i double checked everything but when i try to load my game it crashes lackey.

sengicia

If the card images aren't showing up, it means the entry in the ImageFile column does not match the image file, or the image file is not where it is supposed to be.

well the cardback and spawned are coming up just not the front images. the images are also where they are suppose to be also the carddata got screwed up when it displays in lackey.

sengicia

first is my updatelist
the second one is my carddata

Look at the names of those files you linked. Your file suffixes are still messed up as before.
