How are installable plugins sorted?

As far as I've been able to tell, the list of plugins that can be installed by using the plugin finder is sorted randomly. The most recently installed plugin is usually near the top, but not always. Others are in no discernable order. Would it be difficult to sort that list alphabetically (preferably case insensetively)?

Sure. I pretty much added them as people told me their plugin info. I will sort them in the list people see.

Great, thank you. Having that list sorted will be a big help to see whether a particular plugin is in the currently pluginfinder.txt.
