I ended up erasing the old version of lackey from my computer when you initiated the 7-1-13 patch. Re-downloaded it from your link in the forums. No longer has the updater, or auto plugin loader. this i get. but when i try to use the magic the gathering URL to get it as a plugin, it downloads fine. i click to load it and lackey crashes. Then it wont open until i Re-download lackey again.

Above is the URL for the plugin im using. found at:
LackeyCCG > LackeyCCG Forum > Plugins & Plugin Creation Forum > Magic Plugin

(Since the plugin update list doesnt include MTG)

It happened with my friend too,but i installed in my  mac and it worked fine...apparently the problem is occurring only in windows. :-\

A number of people have reported a similar crash. It seems to only affect windows. I am investigating it.

Just for fun, I decided to try launching it again a couple of times after it crashed, and the third or fourth try it loaded up just fine and I haven't had troubles with it since.

Ok so i tried relaunching it over and over, kept getting the same results. so i wiped my laptop out of retirement. Installed lackeyccg, got the plugin working, and set up my settings. Zipped and attached this to an email and sent it to my main computer. now its working fine. Its either something to do with windows 8 or the check boxes to give programs privileges is bugged. Either way, im back to being a happy camper.

To fix without reinstalling:

Go to \Secure\Preferences.txt
Change "PLUGINNAME0:magic" to whatever is the one below it.
Change "PLUGINNAME1:xxxx" to magic.

For instance, here's how mine looks afterwards:

PLUGINNAME0:pokemon
PLUGINNAME1:magic
PLUGINNAME2:war3000
RECENTUPDATELISTS0[...]

Please note that changing back to the magic plugin in lackey will kill it again, and you'll need to redo this.

Same issue here, by the way.  Windows 7 64 bit.
