Two things:

I notice most of the default sounds are wave files. What type of files can Lackey handle, or only wave?

The avatars and different backgrounds, what are the dimension and and file types that it recongises and cooperates best with?

The best things to use are wav and jpg files. For bot.jpg and other avatar files, I suggest 200x200 or 100x100. They should be square and black backgrounds look the best because they blend in with Lackey's background when the table is tilted.
If you want more specifics as far as suggested sound format, open the inlcuded sound files and see what settings they have.
