To those that waited for so long I thank you as this was my first time touching Lackey in any form.
It's done although it's missing some of the text in the deck builder, but here it is. Enjoy.

I should also add to the ponies that don't know what this is.

This is a pretty convenient crazy random happenstance. I've been working on an MLP CCG template for Magic Set Editor, and I'm at the stage where I'm working on getting it to export to being able to use in various card game simulators. So far, the only other one I've been able to find with an MLP CCG game plugin made is OCTGN, but it looks like I can make one for Lackey now as well. What kind of stuff do the set files need for Lackey to use them? Do they need to be in any particular format?

Here's my latest update on the template, if you're curious: http://abion47.deviantart.com/art/Final-Update-Maybe-472761072

I'm using Google docs spreadsheet for faster edits http://puu.sh/aNc6c/4595414fe2.png then copying what's inside that to the Lackey carddata.txt and carddata.csv  http://puu.sh/aNc03/72e3c707e2.png then running Lackey to see what needs to be fixed.

Other than that the images I pulled from the mlpccg wiki and scaled then to be uniform with the card back of Lackey minus the Problem cards which are done the other way since they maintain their sideways status at all times.

Also, I'm by no means a professional at Lackey as the mlpccg plugin was my first attempt and I never got the card text to align right in the deck builder, but  for what it's worth it works none the less, I suppose.

Also, so you know, I'll be adding the Rock 'n' Rave cards to Lackey in a few days.

Hope this helped and if you have more questions that might need an answer I'm always here, twitter @Raeonn or on skype as Raeonn Leetshifter.

Thanks for your efforts on this!

Out of curiosity, is there any chance you could setup an update list for those of us using the iPad or mac versions of the software?

Instructions on how to do so are here:  http://lackeyccg.com/tutorialplugin.html#updatelist

I see there's a superior solution, but I was just working on a plugin for the same thing (just reg'd on the forums) and while working on an update list earlier found that the images are all on here http://mlpccg.wikia.com/wiki/My_Little_Pony_Collectible_Card_Game_Wiki It's way less pretty than a nice deck download, but you can copy the URLs for eac of those images and paste them into your updatelist.txt and Lackey will download from there. They're all 300x419 which is close to a good size for the card viewer.

I looked at your dropbox files. I think it'd make more sense to call the initial release 'Premiere' (PRM/PR?) than BaseSet.

My issue right now is that my updatelist.txt isn't working. I plug the url into lackey and it tells me "unable to download a valid updatelist.txt" It's good to go other than that and some text issues that don't really matter though.

Nice work on the whole, by the way. I checked (tried using the dropbox url for your updatelist.txt) and yeah, I see that error message too. Any chance it's just because you're trying to download from Dropbox?

Fluttershy

It might be. Know anywhere else I can put the files 'cause if so then I can post them there and fix the update asap.

Not sure. I tried it putting the file in my google drive and that didn't work either... The easiest way, for now at least, is probably for people to just download it all as a zip from your dropbox and unzip it and move the files to lackey's install folder. It looks like ~20mb download.

Edit:
I tried uploading the updatelist.txt to some space I have on my college's servers (each student has a little bit of website space) and Lackey seemed to be able to get the file from there. However, it never downloaded the card images from Dropbox (only got 3.6mb of the files) and when I tried to load the plugin it caused Lackey to crash.

I suspect part of the download problem is that dropbox doesn't actually have folders that you can look at (not 100% sure) and so there isn't really a valid general url you can use for the cards.

Note how the URLs differ for the two side of CLN rainbow dash:

while your card general url is:

I think what the issue is is that I don't think Dropbox has download links that point directly to the files. That is, if you were to click the download link, Dropbox would take you to a page first where you would then click a button to download the files. You could try uploading the images to an image sharing site like photobucket or imgur that do have direct download links.

@Abion47 That might work (if all the files are stored in a folder hierarchy like this -> folder\filename1, folder\filename2), but then the plugin author here would have to go and type (copy/paste) a separate line for each card I think. In which case you could do the same with dropbox if you want to laboriously copy each link (in that case you'd probably want to use the CardURLFiles approach).

The easiest solution is a good old FTP site or a free website service where you can upload your own files (that has room for them) andyou can set up the desired/ideal folder structure or simply to offer the entire plugin for download.

On the other hand, as long as the card images/card data doesn't need to change you could offer a zip file of the changed plugin files minus the card sets. In fact if you're okay forcing people to download the cards separately then you can just omit the cards from the updatelist.txt altogether.

P.S.

It'd be nice there were the following additional options for format: BaseSet, CLN, BaseSet+CLN rather than simply Main Game.
