Is there a way to make tokens stack HORIZONTAL?

In the options there is a setting to make tokens stack rather than using a a text number.

When you select this they stack Vertical form the center of the card...

1) Is there a way to make these stack horizontal across the card instead of vertical?
2) Is there a way to position the first icon so instead of being in the center it is in fact at the top or bottom?
3) Cool but optional - Would be perfect if you could also specify the direction it grows. UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT

I'm working on a new Call of Cthulhu plugin and the game uses horizontal "story" cards. These are won after you place 5 tokens. In the real life game you place them as you win various conditions .. when you have 5 you win the story....



Having the tokens stack would be perfect.. but as you can see having them horizontal works fine for tall cards but not for horizontal. The perfect fix would be to be able to tell the app the starting location for each icon.

This would also be great for my Star Wars LCG plugin...
