My name is Jae,

I have been working on what I like to call a...
C3G (Customizable Combat Card Game) called Legends of Combat: Deck Breaker.

To quickly summarize the game uses no life points, and two types of decks. One small deck containing a player's weapons, tools and relics for battle. And a 50 card main deck containing a player's combat techniques. A player's deck serves as a representation of their life as well. When a player receives damage they discard from the top of the deck - when the deck runs out they shuffle the discard pile and then remove a specific number of cards from play. When a player has to remove a specific number but doesn't have enough to do so, they lose.

The game uses a unique combo system based on the links of a chain, but that is easier to show than explain.

At the moment I have completed 5 character decks and made 40 expansion cards. Right now I need more people to play test so that I can get feedback and tweak the rules and card jargon as needed. And also spread the word as much as possible before attempting a kickstarter to pay for the cost of art.

So without further gilding the lilly:

I like the look of this but two things:

Don't over-flavor your Terminology. Netrunner does this and it pays for it. Especially when your flavor is just the technical term in a different language (like Sapoto for Support, just call it Support).

Secondly, make a quickstart guide (or link to an already existing one).

Thanks for the interest and feedback.

Some of the mechanics and  for the game were designed and conceptualized with influences from the simplest of popularized Japanese and Hindu culture... (it's not necessarily set in stone of course as the game isn't yet ready for print) (but I chose to use the term Jutsu instead of 'Skill or Technique' - Kogeki instead of 'Attack or Assault' - Chakra instead of 'Energy' etc., again not necessarily set in stone.)

I am actually working on the quick start guide right now, as a matter of fact (the challenge is not to over stuff it but not leave out something that's important) but I should have it up by Tuesday.

Again thanks for the feedback, it is much appreciated.

EDIT:
Added a simple quick start guide to the site (took a cue from Duel Masters or Kaijudo as it is now called)
