random disconnections

Today I tried playing. We were both using build 12-10-10 (installed by unzipping over the top of an existing install).

We kept getting disconnected and getting error messages:

Debug warning: Are you still connected? For realz?
Debug message: You MIGHT be disconnected from the server now. Ask in the server chat if you are. (which reappears half a dozen times)
